Job summary

Manufacturing Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to set and operate fixed-head lathe machines (Fanuc). The role focuses on producing precision components with tight tolerances, interpreting drawings, and ensuring first-off quality.

The ideal candidate has proven CNC turning experience with Fanuc controls, and can set up lathes independently while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards on early or day shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC turning experience.
• Fanuc control experience.
• Able to set up and operate CNC lathes independently.
• Strong interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Excellent inspection and measurement skills.
• Positive attitude with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning machines.
• Load tooling, set offsets, and prepare machines for production.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspections.
• Use micrometres, verniers, bore gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Maintain machine performance and minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement and TPM activities.
• Work to production schedules and quality requirements.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
