You will work from detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring precision, traceability, and compliance with IPC workmanship standards. The role offers a 37.5 hour week with a 4-day option, and a salary between £32,000 and £40,000 plus benefits including BUPA and a performance bonus.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, terminate, and inspect cable harnesses, wiring looms, and electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Perform wire preparation tasks including crimping, soldering, connector assembly, lacing, bundling, and harness dressing to military and customer-defined standards.
• Install heat shrink tubing, backshells, strain reliefs, shielding, and identification markers in line with build documentation.
• Conduct in-process self-inspection and quality verification throughout assembly.
• Carry out electrical testing including continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing using approved equipment.
• Maintain full traceability and accurately complete all manufacturing and quality records.
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective action activities as required.
• Adhere to safe working practices and comply with all health, safety, and quality standards.
