Job summary

The Redline Group is seeking two Contract Cable Assemblers/Production Operators to support a Hertfordshire-based engineering project. You will work on precision wire cutting, crimping, soldering and harness assembly on-site five days per week for 5-6 weeks.

Reading cable drawings and working with Amphenol connectors are required; J-STD certification is beneficial. Potential extension may be considered depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Cable assembly and wiring experience essential.
• Ability to read and interpret cable drawings.
• Crimping and soldering skills required.
• Experience with harness and loom assembly.
• Experience with Amphenol connectors.
• J-STD certification beneficial, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex cable assemblies on production line.
• Read drawings, cut, crimp, solder and test components.
• Assemble cables, harnesses and loom assemblies on site.
