Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is seeking a Binding Machine Operative / Print Finisher in Uckfield, East Sussex. The role is on-site, full-time, with responsibilities for setting up and running bindery and finishing machinery to deliver high-quality printed materials to clients.

You will operate devices such as guillotines and booklet makers, perform basic maintenance, and ensure finished products meet exact specifications. This is a hands-on position in a busy print production team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating bindery or print finishing machinery.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of cuts and bindings.
• Ability to troubleshoot simple machine issues and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and monitor bindery and finishing machinery.
• Operate Guillotine cutters to size printed stock per job specs.
• Execute binding and booklet making, including wire binders and hand-stitching when needed.
• Inspect finished products for quality and alignment against job sheets.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Track job progress using production systems (e.g., OneFlow).
