Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting for a permanent Assembly Operator to join our client's Product Support team on the shop floor in England. You will assemble drives and related products accurately, perform quality checks and support the broader production process.

The role offers full training on assembly techniques, soldering (where needed) and testing, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and continuous improvement to meet production targets and right-first-time quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in product assembly within engineering/manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
• Ability to follow technical instructions and quality procedures
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
• Soldering skills would be beneficial, although training can be provided
• Willingness to learn assembly techniques, testing procedures and product support processes

Responsibilities

• Assembling products accurately and efficiently in line with production requirements
• Carrying out post-assembly inspections and checks to ensure products meet quality standards
• Following assembly instructions, processes and workplace safety procedures
• Maintaining a tidy and organised work area
• Monitoring stock levels and replenishing materials required for assembly tasks
• Supporting goods-in, dispatch, testing and stock control activities when required
• Identifying potential process improvements and contributing to efficient production
• Working collaboratively to meet production targets while maintaining a right-first-time approach
