ITM Power is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the Assembly Team in Sheffield, involved in the manufacture of electrolyser and skid assemblies. You will be quality focused with a positive approach and work hours 0600–14:00, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Good communication with stakeholders and team members.

Responsibilities

• Work to standard procedures to maintain high quality throughput.
• Ensure required documentation is completed and maintained.
• Perform quality assurance and testing checks.
• Maintain quality standards and reporting of defects.
• Complete machinery pre-use checks and report faults.
• Manage kits, sorting into designated areas while following compliance standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Bend and form stainless-steel tube; prepare and weld pipework.
• Adhere to workplace HS procedures; keep work areas clean.
