Job summary

Oakleaf Forestry Ltd in the Portadown area is seeking an experienced Assembly Fitter to join our workshop team. The role involves fitting and assembling components and machinery from drawings and instructions, ensuring finished equipment is built to a high standard.

You will collaborate with fabrication and engineering teams, perform general fitting, drilling, bolting and mechanical assembly, and help identify and resolve practical issues to keep jobs moving.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, fitting, mechanical or engineering environments.
• Reliable, practical and team-oriented.
• Confident with hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Able to read engineering drawings and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and tidy workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit components within our workshop and ensure correct fit.
