Job summary

Airedale by Modine is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join the Machine Dept. The role involves assembling and lagging panels for AHU units, operating guillotine and punch centres with training provided, and ensuring quality through careful inspection.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, following health & safety guidelines and contributing to meeting production targets while collaborating with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Follow all health & safety guidelines and use PPE.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience using basic hand tools is essential.
• Experience with punch centres/press brakes is preferred.
• Experience within an AHU manufacturing environment is preferable.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication process.

Responsibilities

• Panel assembly and lagging for AHU units per specs.
• Operate guillotine; training provided.
• Operate punch centre; training provided.
• Tool handling with basic hand tools for assembly and finishing.
• Quality control; inspect components and report defects.
• Complete production records and collaborate with team to meet targets.
