Job summary

Pertemps Milton Keynes seeks an experienced Warehouse Operative for a full-time, permanent post at Westcott Business Park in Aylesbury. The role covers goods receipt, storage, picking and dispatch, with accurate record-keeping and adherence to health and safety.

Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, you will support a busy logistics operation, maintain stock accuracy, and contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are packed and sent correctly and on time.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Stock handling and inventory management experience.
• Experience with picking, packing and dispatch operations.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes and procedures.
• Basic IT skills including email and warehouse systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Desirable forklift licence (Counterbalance and VNA).
• Experience in a parts warehouse environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock.
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
• Updating stock movements using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintaining inventory accuracy and stock availability.
• Reporting stock shortages, discrepancies or damages promptly.
• Keeping the workspace tidy, organised and safe.
• Adhering to warehouse procedures and service standards.
• Supporting colleagues and collaborating across departments.
