Woodlands Home & Garden Group in Rodley, Leeds is seeking an Experienced Timber Machinist to join our mill team. The role focuses on producing accurately machined timber for garden-building production, while upholding safety, quality and productivity.

You will set and operate timber mill moulders, adjust tooling, and inspect finished timber for defects. We offer a competitive salary, 28 days holiday, annual bonus, training, cycle-to-work, parking and on-site canteen.

Qualifications

• Experience as Timber or Wood Machinist.
• Ability to set and operate timber mill moulders.
• Accurate measurement and quality focus; safety minded.
• Knowledge of timber, tooling and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate timber mill moulders.
• Select, fit and adjust tooling safely and accurately.
• Machine timber to required measurements and profiles.
• Complete machine adjustments, product changeovers and routine checks.
• Inspect finished timber for quality.
• Identify defects and resolve machining issues.
• Follow production plans and meet output requirements.
• Keep the timber mill clean, organised and safe.
