Pre-School Practitioner - Kennington - SE11

This fabulous nursery is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly nursery practitioner to join our 3 - 4 year old team. They already have a great team and look after up to 18 three and four year olds a day.

The setting is open Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm. The role is 40 hours per week in shifts: rotating between 7.45am - 4.45pm, 8am - 5pm, 8.30am - 5.30pm or 9am - 6pm.

What we need from you:
•A positive attitude and good work ethic
•Clear communication with children and adults
•A good working knowledge of the EYFS
•Experience with planning activities, observing and evaluating
•Experience working within a nursery setting for 1 year
•A level 3 qualification in Childcare - level 2 would be considered with the right experience

Your duties will include:
•Someone who will enthusiastically take part in all planned activities for the children
•Someone who is not afraid to get 'stuck in' - singing, messy play, make believe play, reading stories
•Supporting the children with early literacy and numeracy skills through small group activities
•You will be a key worker to a specific group of children and carry out observations on their progress and development on a tablet
•Responsible for liaising with parents on all aspects of their child's care and development and daily handovers
•Dedicated planning time to come up with exciting and engaging activity ideas to help the children's development
