Job summary

St Alban's Catholic Academy in Harlow is seeking a capable Pre-School Leader to join our early years team. The post supports building from our early year’s provision with a strong Catholic ethos and collaborative planning.

Essential qualification is NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare & Education or equivalent. The role involves leading EY education, implementing EYFS welfare policies, planning and assessment, and maintaining a safe, inspiring environment for children.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare & Education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the provision of Early Years Education.
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure the welfare requirement of the EYFS framework is met.
• Participate in planning, assessment, recording and reporting, in line with EYFS requirements.
• Provide a safe and secure learning environment for the children.
• Set expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge every child.
• Assist in liaising with parents on welfare, learning and development of the children.
• Work alongside outside agencies.
