Job summary

Ashville College, Harrogate invites applications for a part-time General Assistant in the Pre-school Dining Room to help set up, serve and clear lunch for around 60 children. The role is term-time, Monday to Friday, 11:00–13:30, with enhanced DBS required and eligibility to work in the UK.

You will join Holroyd Howe, a specialist education catering provider, offering free parking, free uniform and a family sports centre membership.

Qualifications

• Must be resident in the UK with full rights to work.

• Some experience in a similar role desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, serving and clearing lunch for around 60 children in the Pre-school Dining Room.
• Help to lift and carry tables and chairs to and from the store room.
• Wash up and put away dishes.
• Leave the Dining Hall clean, clear and tidy for the next day.

You will be working in a small, established team at Ashville College, Harrogate, HG2 9JP.

We're easily accessible by car, bus or train from Harrogate or Leeds and we can offer you free parking, free uniform, free family sports centre membership.

Annualised salary, paid in 12 equal instalments. £12.71 per hour + holiday pay.

Job Description

Some manual handling is involved in this role. You will help to lift and carry tables and chairs to and from the store room

Wash up and put away dishes

Leave the Dining Hall clean, clear and tidy, ready for next day.

Qualifications

You must be resident in the UK with full rights to work. This role requires an enhanced DBS security check. We apply for this on your behalf
