Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a dedicated Early Years Assistant to join a vibrant 2-year-old room in Selly Oak on a full-time, long-term basis. The role focuses on supporting children's development, forming strong relationships with a group of key children, and contributing to a nurturing learning environment.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months' EYFS experience, be kind and proactive, and thrive as part of a supportive team.

I have been working closely with a fantastic Nursery and Pre-School in Selly Oak for the past three years, providing them with high-quality long-term staff. Many of the candidates I have placed at the setting have gone on to secure permanent positions, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in Early Years.

The setting is now looking for a dedicated Pre-School Assistant to join their team, working within their 2-year-old room on a full-time basis.

About the Role

As a Pre-School Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting children's development, learning and wellbeing.

You will have your own group of key children, giving you the opportunity to build strong, meaningful relationships and become an important part of their early learning journey.

This is a long-term position, with the potential to lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Pre-School is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The staff team are friendly, down-to-earth and incredibly supportive, with a genuine focus on creating a positive environment for both children and staff.

Having worked closely with the setting for several years, I know that new members of the team are made to feel welcome from day one.
