Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Pre-School Assistant to join the 2-year-old room in Selly Oak, Birmingham. You’ll support children’s development, build warm relationships and help create a safe, nurturing environment where little ones can thrive.

This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate. The ideal applicant will have at least 6 months’ EYFS experience, be kind, proactive and reliable, and work well as part of a team.

Location: Selly Oak Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity 2-Year-Old Room | Potential Permanent Position

I have been working closely with a fantastic Nursery and Pre-School in Selly Oak for the past three years, providing them with high-quality long-term staff. Many of the candidates I have placed at the setting have gone on to secure permanent positions, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in Early Years.

The setting is now looking for a dedicated Pre-School Assistant to join their team, working within their 2-year-old room on a full-time basis.

About the Role

As a Pre-School Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting children's development, learning and wellbeing.

You will have your own group of key children, giving you the opportunity to build strong, meaningful relationships and become an important part of their early learning journey.

This is a long-term position, with the potential to lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
