Job summary

USystems is seeking an experienced Technical Presales specialist to act as the reference for cooling solutions. You will support regional sales teams, engage with customers and partners, and deliver technical demonstrations aligned with LDCS Europe standards.

You will translate requirements into compliant cooling designs, qualify opportunities, and contribute to RFQs and proposals. Regular travel across Europe is expected, with close collaboration to Product Management and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• Proven experience in data centre cooling, presales, engineering, or technical sales.
• Strong understanding of data centre cooling principles, including airflow management, heat rejection, redundancy, and energy efficiency.
• Experience delivering customer-facing technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
• Experience with rear door heat exchangers, liquid-assisted cooling, or high-density / AI / HPC environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical presales reference for USystems cooling solutions.
• Support regional sales teams and Global Key Account Managers on opportunities.
• Engage directly with end customers, consultants, and partners.
• Deliver customer-facing technical presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations.
• Translate customer requirements into compliant, optimized cooling solutions.
• Qualify opportunities, assess technical feasibility, and influence solution positioning.
• Provide technical input for RFQs, tenders, proposals, and framework agreements.
• Answer technical queries related to performance, integration, efficiency, and reliability.
• Develop and validate solution designs aligned with customer requirements and LDCS standards.
• Ensure accurate and structured technical handover to project execution, service, and operations teams.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on complex technical challenges.
• Provide product management feedback on customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights.
• Support internal sales enablement and technical training.
• Participate in industry events, customer visits, and trade shows as a technical ambassador for USystems cooling solutions.
• Report directly to the Cooling Director - LDCS Europe
• Interface with Sales, Global Key Account, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams.

Requirements
