Job Description
NECSWS has an excellent opportunity for a Presales professional with specific knowledge of the Public Safety sector, covering Police, Fire, Ambulance, or Transport.
An essential requirement is experience in product demonstrations and tender responses.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with bid responses, collaborating with product, development, and portfolio teams.
- Configure, build, and demonstrate NEC Safety products.
- Interpret customer demonstration scenarios to design product configurations.
- Demonstrate the NEC Safety portfolio's overview and detailed functionalities to support new business and account management.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for product questions during the sales process.
- Understand associated Safety products like control rooms, operational policing, evidence management, biometrics, and managed services.
- Senior roles may handle major bids over £20m involving infrastructure, applications, and services.
Qualifications
- Experience in presales or proven presentation skills, preferably in the private sector with public sector clients or within public sector organizations.
- Good knowledge of the Safety business domain.
- Experience with Control Rooms, Operational Policing, Evidence Management/Data Analytics, or Managed Services.
Ideally, you will have:
- Knowledge of the Public Safety market.
- Understanding of customer requirements in the Public Safety sector.
- Government security clearance.
- Understanding of the Government & Safety environment and its drivers.
- Market awareness and competitive landscape knowledge.
- Ability to interact effectively with high-level managers and officers.
- Focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
- Adaptability for different demonstration scenarios.
- Supportive skills for proposal writing and post-demo follow-up.
- Ambassadorial capabilities for NEC.
