Job summary

PER International in Bradley Stoke is seeking an Application Engineer to bridge Engineering and Sales, delivering technical solutions and architecture to meet customer needs. You will generate specifications, 2D drawings and BOMs, and prepare quotations in collaboration with internal teams.

You will coordinate across Engineering, Sales, Purchasing and Production, translating complex technical information into clear business value while ensuring documentation and drawings are issued for works

Qualifications

UK Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience using 2D drawing software (AutoCAD LT, EPLAN).
Competence with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word).
Working knowledge of AC and DC systems; 230V–350A ranges or similar.

Responsibilities

Create system architectures and technical content to support sales quotations while understanding customer needs.
Generate technical specifications, 2D drawings and general assembly drawings from customer requirements.
Create product structures, Bills of Materials and routings within the ERP system to support procurement.
Ensure drawings are approved for each works order and release structures on time.
Maintain supporting documentation for standard products and communicate with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
