Barts Health NHS Trust is recruiting an enthusiastic Trainee Pharmacy Assistant to join the busy hospital pharmacy team in East London. You will develop skills in dispensing, medicines management, and customer care while learning under supervision.

The successful candidate will have strong communication, numeracy and IT skills, and an interest in pursuing a career in hospital pharmacy. Training includes an apprenticeship pathway with Clear progression toward registration.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs A–C (4–9) including English and Maths.
  • English Language and Maths are desirable for this role.
  • Experience working in customer care environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense and distribute medicines in the pharmacy.
  • Medicines management and stock control.
  • Assist in technical services within the pharmacy.
