Are you ready for a new challenge? We arelooking to recruit 2 enthusiastic individuals to complete the PharmacyTechnician (integrated) Level 3 Apprenticeship as part of our team who areresponsible for delivering pharmacy services to our community hospitals, mentalhealth inpatient wards, mental health community teams and specialised clinicalservices across Herefordshire and Worcestershire .The entry requirements aregrade 5 or above in Maths, Science and English Language (all are required). Trainingcourse fees are paid for from the government funded apprenticeship scheme, so ifyou do not hold the required qualifications or already hold a Degree in aclosely related subject to this post, you will not be eligible for funding andwill not be shortlisted. Please note that successful applicants must bringtheir original certificates to interview. Currently there are no weekend duties, bank holiday working orlate nights. You may be expected to work some Saturday mornings in the future.
As a pre registration pharmacy technician youwill work alongside a variety of pharmacy professionals and be supported toobtain and demonstrate competencies in dispensary, stores and procurementduties as well as ward based activities such as stock top ups, individualpatient medication ordering and medicines reconciliation.
This is a rewarding and challenging role whereyou will need to demonstrate that you are organised and self-motivated tomanage working and studying to complete the training programme, whilst putting patient care at the heart of your work toimprove healthcare outcomes and service delivery.
