The Pre-Litigated File Handler role involves working within a team of fraud specialists and legal support staff. The Handler will manage a caseload of pre-litigation cases across various fraud types, working closely with the Team Leader and Lead Lawyer to achieve optimal results in a commercially sound manner. The role requires following defined processes and applying forensic and analytical skills to evidence, along with a high level of commercial awareness regarding fixed fee work. Decision-making within set timeframes, aligned with case strategy and client interests, is essential.
The File Handler will work proactively to shape the future of the counter-fraud arena.
The caseload includes suspected fraudulent insurance claims of various types. Knowledge of the MIB is essential.
35 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with 1 unpaid lunch hour. The role is based in Bolton, Parklands Office, with a flexible working model requiring at least 1 day/week in the office.
