Pre-Contracts Manager – Design & Build Fit-Out Contractor | London & Hybrid

Location: Central London (Hybrid – 2 Days WFH)

Salary: £65,000 to £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits + WFH

We’re on the lookout for a Pre-Contracts Manager with a sharp commercial mind, strong industry know-how, and a proven track record of pricing and winning workplace fit-out projects across London.

Our project portfolio spans smaller-scale, high-impact schemes ranging from £350K to £5M—each one crafted with attention to detail and tailored to client vision.

The Role:

As Pre-Contracts Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our pre-construction process—from early engagement through to contract award. Working closely with estimating, design, and BD teams, you’ll shape and submit competitive, compelling tenders that reflect our high standards and win work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all pre-construction activity for workplace fit-out projects (£350K–£5M)
• Develop tender strategies, coordinate bid responses, and ensure timely submission
• Collaborate with in-house design, estimating, and commercial teams to shape winning proposals
• Engage with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure clarity and alignment
• Carry out buildability reviews, value engineering, and commercial assessments
• Contribute to client pitches and presentations

What You’ll Bring:

• Demonstrable experience in the London D&B fit-out sector
• Proven ability to price and win commercial office fit-out projects
• A deep understanding of CAT A & CAT B fit-out delivery
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commercial edge
