Job summary

Great Places Housing Group is seeking a Development Programme Manager (Pre Contract) for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will lead the pre‑contract delivery of a substantial portfolio aligned with the Affordable Development Strategy.

You will manage budgets, bids, and programme governance while line-managing a team and ensuring compliance with audit requirements and Homes England standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in property development.
• Detailed knowledge of property development process.
• Experience in regeneration and/or community development.
• Knowledge of operating environment and changing market conditions.
• Commitment to line management and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Affordable Development Strategy and Corporate Plan.
• Assist in budgets and targets; assist in bids for funding.
• Programmes management of a sub-programme of pre‑contract projects.
• Line manage team members and mentor others in the Department.
• Lead and review pre-contract processes and ensure audit compliance.
