Job summary

James Gray Recruitment is seeking a Pre-Construction Commercial Manager with a background in Quantity Surveying or pre-construction. The role focuses on winning and shaping projects from tender through to contract award, across a varied portfolio.

You will lead estimating, cost planning and value engineering, manage bids, build relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and report to senior management on commercial performance. Excellent salary and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Quantity Surveying, estimating or pre-construction.
• Experience with a main contractor or developer, ideally across residential and/or wider construction.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Confident managing multiple bids and deadlines.
• A proactive, ambitious approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

???? Pre-Construction Commercial Manager Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Pre-Construction professional looking for your next challenge? We’re looking for a commercially minded Pre-Construction Commercial Manager to join a growing construction team and play a key role in winning and shaping new projects from early-stage tender through to contract award. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a varied project portfolio, partnering with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to develop competitive, commercially sound bids.
