Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 + Package

Projects: £50m - £150m

We’re working with a well-established main contractor to recruit a Pre-Construction Manager for their regional office in Leeds. With a strong order book of major schemes between £50m and £150m, they’re looking for an experienced professional with a solid background in main contracting and large-scale project delivery.

The Role

As Pre-Construction Manager, you’ll take the lead during the bid and pre-construction phases of high-profile schemes. You'll coordinate internal departments, external consultants, and clients to ensure smooth progression from tender through to start on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead pre-construction activity across multiple bids
• Engage with design, estimating, and commercial teams to drive submissions
• Review drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance and buildability
• Conduct risk analysis and value engineering exercises
• Represent the company in client meetings and presentations
• Oversee handover to construction delivery teams post-contract award

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in a Pre-Construction, Estimating, or Planning role within a main contractor
• Background delivering major construction projects (£50m+)
• Technical knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and design development
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams during tender stages
• Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills
