Pre-Construction Manager required to manage a team working across the Southwest on a variety of clean water projects. The role involves spearheading the preconstruction program to facilitate the timely and effective delivery of the clean water initiative.

About the Role

As the Pre-Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning and preparing for water projects across the South West. This includes managing budgets, developing construction schedules, and overseeing the pre-construction phase, including design, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the client partnership to shape the program
• Establish budgets and identify optimization opportunities for project delivery
• Develop and manage the pre-construction program
• Establish and manage project budgets
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and design teams
• Develop and manage procurement strategies and engage with subcontractors
• Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the pre-construction phase
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project governance processes
• Coordinate and lead the pre-construction team, providing guidance and support

Qualifications

Previous experience working with the water sector for a main contractor is essential, as the projects involve a diverse range of sizes and complexities, including traditional civil works, mechanical, and electrical components.
