Job Details
  • Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Salary: Up to £70,000 (pro rata, DOE) plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (payable as one payment of £1,500 after one month and another of £1,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&Cs Apply)
  • Contract: Permanent, Term-Time only (full-time or part-time options available, please contact us)
  • Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

We’re looking for a Practitioner Psychologist to support our clinical service development and work closely with the Lead Clinician to enhance our therapeutic support, emphasizing neurodiversity and intersectionality.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding clinical team, delivering assessments and interventions for our pupils, contributing to staff training, and shaping our clinical provision.

The role involves managing a caseload with support from our experienced team, making a real difference through a holistic, therapeutic approach.

Minimum Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, Educational)
  • HCPC registration and membership in a professional body
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including complex trauma and mental health needs
  • Ability to collaborate with key partners and work sensitively
  • Continuing professional development relevant to the setting
  • Post-qualification experience with adults
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
  • Data management skills for service delivery and development projects
