Job summary

People with Energy in the United Kingdom seeks a Practitioner Planner to join a forward-thinking engineering team. You will shape schedules for nuclear defueling and decommissioning across UK sites, developing integrated plans and robust reporting to underpin critical infrastructure projects.

You will apply Primavera planning expertise across the full project lifecycle, coordinating with multi-site stakeholders in a regulated, safety-critical environment to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering projects across full lifecycle.
• Strong Primavera planning expertise.
• Experience in regulated, safety-focused industries.
• Ability to manage cost, resource, and schedule integration.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated project schedules across the full lifecycle.
• Create cost and resource-loaded baseline plans aligned to standards.
• Analyse and report on schedule performance and project progress.
• Incorporate risk, change, and resource requirements into plans.
• Support nuclear defueling and decommissioning project delivery.
• Integrate third-party schedules into overall project plans.
• Establish robust Work Breakdown Structures and control frameworks.
• Produce clear monthly reports with insightful analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multi-site programmes.
• Ensure compliance within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.
