Job summary

PWE Recruitment Group in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead civil engineering programmes in the nuclear energy sector, delivering complex infrastructure from concept to completion while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate engineering, procurement and construction activities, and report on progress, budgets and risks, benefiting from a supportive culture and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Chartered status or working toward chartership preferred.
  • APMP or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Strong experience delivering projects in highly regulated environments.
  • Understanding of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
  • Knowledge of safety cases, HSE legislation and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness including cost control and planning.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability.
  • Experience within power generation or nuclear sites beneficial.

  • Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across project teams.

Project Manager - Civils | Nuclear Energy

Lead complex civil engineering projects that help power the UK's low-carbon future.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure within the UK's nuclear energy sector. Working on technically challenging projects, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality delivery.
