Culverhay Surgery seeks a Lead Nurse to provide strategic and operational leadership for its nursing and frailty teams across three sites. You will drive high-quality, evidence-based care and support the Partners and management in delivering a unified, patient-focused nursing service.

As a visible, communicative leader, you will oversee clinical governance, staff development, and data-informed improvements, while ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a primary care environment.
• Chronic disease management qualifications and ongoing professional development.
• Registration as a nurse with current UK practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the nursing and frailty teams.
• Lead the nursing team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across three sites.
• Ensure infection control, governance, and patient safety standards are met.
• Support workforce planning, training, and professional development.
• Promote collaboration with GP partners, management, and wider primary care team.
