Job summary

Operose Health is seeking a Lead Nurse to provide clinical leadership within our primary care network. You will work with regional nursing, operational and GP teams to meet national service targets and maintain high standards of care.

You will perform history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment while ensuring safety and evidence-based decision-making. The role requires a developing deputy responsibility to support the Regional Lead and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• First Level UK registered nurse / Registered AHCP with at least 2 years post qualified experience.
• Non-medical Prescriber.
• Extensive clinical experience in Primary Care Health settings and managing nursing teams.
• Understanding of the Lead Role.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the regional nursing, operational and GP team members to ensure targets are met.
• Provide care from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including advanced practice per NMC requirements.
• Support the Regional Lead Nurse and act as deputy to maintain high quality standards.
