Job summary

The Northolme Practice is seeking a flexible Practice Nurse to cover two sites in Halifax, 16–20 hours per week on compressed hours, mainly Wednesdays and Thursdays. The role focuses on cervical screening, contraception, immunisations, wound care, and general treatment room duties.

Job description

Practice Nurse role at The Northolme Practice, a two-site training practice, covering 16 to 20 hours a week on compressed hours, mostly Wednesdays and Thursdays. The work centres on cervical screening, contraception, immunisations, treatment room procedures and wound care, plus directing the healthcare assistant and nursing associate. The post-holder works across both sites, which are about ten minutes apart. Current NMC registration as a registered nurse is essential, and general practice experience is too, though candidates willing to train may be considered.
