Practice Nurse - Redhill (45348) Redhill, England

Permanent Practice Nurse

Location: Redhill

Rate: up to £28ph DOE

Main duties of the job

• Providing assessment, screening, and treatment services, along with health education advice.
• Providing nursing treatments to patients in collaboration with general practitioners or independently, following agreed protocols.
• Conducting general and specific health screenings for practice patients within agreed protocols, with referrals to GPs as necessary.
• Advising patients on general health care and minor ailments, with referrals to GPs as needed.
• Performing dressings and infection control procedures.

Job requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a qualified practice nurse in General Practice.
• Cervical screening training.
• Childhood and Travel immunisation training.
• Experience and training in monitoring chronic diseases such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration.
