Job description

Old Leake Medical Practice is a busy General Practice in rural Lincolnshire. We provide primary health care and dispensing services to approximately 9,500 patients in Old Leake and the surrounding rural villages. The Practice is part of First Coastal PCN.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our existing nursing
team.

OLMC is a well-established teaching practice with a diverse workforce; you will be working as part of a clinical team including GPs, Practice Nurse and Healthcare Assistants as well as doctors at various stages of their training. The wider Practice team will help and support you to make this an exciting opportunity to develop your nursing career.

  • Current RCN registration
  • Cervical Cytology
  • Child and adult immunisations
  • Treatment room experience including chaperone duties and assisting with minor surgery
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Desirable but not essential requirements:
  • Chronic disease management
  • Contraception and sexual health
  • Nurse prescribing

Part-time: 20- 25 hrs. per week (to be negotiated)
NHS Pension (or alternative) provided
MDU Professional Indemnity cover provided
Opportunities for professional development
