Job summary

Boundary House Medical Centre is seeking a highly motivated Practice Nurse to join our team in the Sale/Manchester area. The role is a full-time, permanent position at Band 6 under Agenda for Change, with salary reflecting experience.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care, participate in screening clinics, diabetes management, and work with GPs to ensure high-quality patient care and audits of clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration and current practice status.
• Includes Nurse Prescriber responsibilities and diabetic care experience.
• Experience in primary care and GP practice settings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, screening and treatment services and health education advice.
• Organise and co-ordinate nursing services for the practice and delegate duties where appropriate.
• Deliver nursing treatments in collaboration with GPs or independently under protocols.
• Lead health screenings and refer to GPs as needed.
• Advise patients on general health and minor ailments with GP referrals as required.
