Earlston Medical Practice

Practice Nurse Vacancy – Band 6

24 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and innovative Practice Nurse with excellent leadership skills to join our busy practice, serving approximately 3,200 patients. We are a small, friendly team seeking someone to work 24 hours per week over 4 days.

In addition to the normal range of skills, you must have experience in Chronic Disease management and ideally possess qualifications in Diabetes, Chronic Heart Disease, Cervical screening, Asthma, and/or COPD.

Essential qualities include flexibility, being a good team player with superb communication and interpersonal skills. You must work professionally and autonomously within your professional boundaries. Previous experience in supervising and mentoring staff is also required.
