Practice Nurse Vacancy – Band 6
24 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and innovative Practice Nurse, with excellent leadership skills, to join our busy practice, with approximately 3,200 patients. We are a small, friendly team and are looking for someone to work 24 hours per week, over 4 days.
In addition to the normal range of skills, you must have experience in Chronic Disease management and will, ideally, have qualifications in Diabetes, Chronic Heart Disease, Cervical screening, Asthma and/or COPD.
Essential qualities are flexibility, a good team player with superb communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work professionally and autonomously within your professional boundaries. Previous experience of supervising and mentoring other staff is also required.
