Job summary

Urban Practice in Glasgow is inviting applications for a part-time Practice Nurse. The role focuses on chronic disease management and preventive care within a friendly team of 2 Practice Nurses and a Health Care Assistant. EMIS will be used for patient records and scheduling.

PVG checks and NMC registration are required, with training provided as needed. Experience with cervical cytology and contraception is advantageous; a prescribing qualification would be useful but is not essential.

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC and PVG checked.
• Experience in chronic disease management is preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care within a primary care setting.
