Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GP practice nurse to work in Sheerness, delivering structured primary care in a busy practice. The role centres on chronic disease reviews, treatment room duties and routine nursing clinics, with regular or ad-hoc sessions available.

You will support high-quality patient care, contribute to NHS Health Checks, immunisations (where trained), and maintain clear documentation within the clinical system.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with experience in primary care.
• Up-to-date immunisation training desirable.
• Cytology training desirable.
• Confident in chronic disease management and treatment room-work.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

This role is ideal for a Practice Nurse with strong assessment skills who can confidently deliver chronic disease reviews, treatment room procedures and routine nursing clinics in a structured primary care environment.
