Job summary

Chase Medical in Reading is seeking a Practice Nurse for a part-time position in a friendly, supportive surgery. The role offers around 27 hours per week with flexible hours and a salary range of £22–£25 per hour, DOE, plus NHS Pension and Sick Pay.

The successful candidate will work alongside an established nursing team, taking the lead in Diabetes care and handling asthma/COPD reviews and immunisations as part of routine care.

Qualifications

• Experience in Diabetes management desirable.
• Ability to lead in Diabetes care desirable.
• Strong patient-care ethic and teamwork across the nursing staff.

Responsibilities

Salary: GBP22 - GBP25 per hour + NHS Pension, Sick Pay

Part-Time (27 hours), flexible

One of our mid-sized, friendly surgeries in Reading is expanding and looking to take on a new Practice Nurse, to work part-time hours on a permanent, salaried basis.

The hours on offer are flexible depending on your preference, ideally around 27 hours per week, and these can be worked in line with your availability and preference.

The successful candidate will be working alongside a longstanding nursing team, and we’re ideally looking for someone who can take the lead in Diabetes, so experience in this area is desirable. The surgery is headed up by a supportive management team and several hands on GPs. It really is a positive and thriving environment to work in.

Salary is DOE and will be in the band 6-7 region of£20-25 per hour upwards, depending on your current skills and experience.
