Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Nurse to join our Nursing team in a Practice Nurse position. This role will be suitable for someone with previous general practice experience, but we will also consider applications from Nurses who would like to pursue a career in General Practice, and relevant support and training will be available to the right candidate.

We have some flexibility regarding the number of hours worked per week, with a range of 30-37.5 hours, which must include a Friday.

Main duties of the job

• Implement and participate in routine vaccinations and immunisation programmes for both adults and children
• Wound care
• Cervical cytology
• Health promotion

The Caxton Surgery cares for 14,000 patients in Oswestry, North Shropshire. Our large multidisciplinary team includes 9 Doctors, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, and 2 Health Care Assistants.

Job responsibilities
