Ideally, we would like to appoint an experienced Practice Nurse, particularly someone with experience in long-term condition management and a good understanding of working within primary care. However, we are also open to considering a newly qualified nurse or someone new to general practice. For us, the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are just as important as previous experience. If you are motivated, keen to develop your skills and committed to providing excellent patient care, we would be interested in hearing from you. There will be training and clinical supervision available for the right candidate to learn new skills.
We recognise that primary care nursing is a broad and continually developing field. We are committed to supporting our nurses to learn, develop and build confidence across all aspects of practice nursing.
There will be adequate opportunities for learning, training and development, with support from our experienced nursing and wider clinical team.
Whether you already have extensive Practice Nurse experience or are looking to make the move into primary care, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and well-resourced practice.
This is a full-time Practice Nurse position, with the possibility of working your hours across 4 days, depending on the successful candidate's preference and the needs of the practice.

The practice nurse role provides caring support, patient interventions and treatment room procedures. As part of the multi-disciplinary team the nurse will work within their scope of practice to provide patient centred care.
We are a large and friendly practice with a population of approximately 14000 patients. We have a team of 3 GP partners, 7 salaried GPs, 3 Registrars, one Advanced Nurse practitioner, 4 Nurses and 3 health care assistants.
