Experience in chronic disease management desirable but not essential as training will be available. The role will also cover all treatment room duties as well as immunisations, and cytology.

The post holder will support the delivery of high-quality patient care within the GP Practice, working under the direction of GPs and senior clinical staff. The role involves a broad range of clinical duties including cytology, wound and ulcer care, Doppler assessments, suture removal, venepuncture, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, asthma reviews, spirometry, urinalysis, new patient medicals, travel and routine immunisations, including childhood vaccinations. The post holder will assist with minor surgery and coil fittings, chaperone patients, and support the collection and processing of pathology samples.
The role also includes maintaining accurate clinical records, following agreed clinical protocols and escalating concerns appropriately. The post holder will maintain clean, safe and well-stocked treatment and consulting rooms, sterilise and maintain clinical equipment, order clinical supplies and vaccinations. Participation in Practice meetings, administrative systems and together with any other duties appropriate to the role.
The Pembridge Villas Surgery is a busy NHS GP practice located in the heart of Notting Hill, London, providing primary care services to a registered patient population of over 14,000 patients.
