Job summary

Lawrence Hill Health Centre in Bristol is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to lead our busy team of clinicians and staff. You will be at the heart of operations, shaping service development, ensuring safe, accessible care and financial sustainability.

Working with our GP Partners and support staff, you will drive improvement, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure CQC compliance within a growing, community-focused practice.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Experience in strategic planning and service development.
• Ability to drive improvement in a multidisciplinary primary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible and effective leadership across the organisation.
• Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the practice.
• Support financial planning, budgeting and business performance.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards, NHS contractual requirements and information governance regulations.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and service development.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment and staff wellbeing.
• Build strong relationships with patients, stakeholders and wider NHS organisations.
