Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Practice Lead for Smart Infrastructure in the UK to shape large-scale programmes, lead project managers, and ensure delivery aligns with customer governance. You will drive multi-project coordination, resource planning and benefits realisation across major initiatives.

You will grow the practice, guide teams, and apply MSP/PRINCE2/Agile methodologies to deliver measurable business value and secure ongoing client partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex, high-risk programmes.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience managing HR line responsibilities and multi-stakeholder environments.
• Knowledge of programme and project delivery methodologies (MSP, PRINCE2, Agile).

Responsibilities

• Lead major programmes and manage Project Managers to deliver business-critical outcomes.
• Define programme structures, delivery approaches, governance models and assurance frameworks.
• Support the full lifecycle from pre-sales through to delivery and benefits realisation.
• Provide team leadership, line management and development for effective delivery.
• Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, aligning with governance and priorities.
• Forecast and optimise resources, balancing assignments to maximise efficiency.
• Grow the practice by building capability and fostering a high-performing culture.
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering subject matter expertise and best-fit delivery methods.
