An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Practice Educator to enhance the educational framework for Older Persons Services. This role is pivotal in developing competencies and supporting professional growth among nursing and allied health professionals. The successful candidate will work closely with staff to identify learning needs and provide hands-on training, ensuring high standards of care and clinical excellence. The post holder will be a nurse or allied health professional with advanced clinical skills and an expert knowledge base, responsible for the educational development of all areas of the Older Persons Services Directorate. The Practice Educator will support professional leadership for nurses working within the directorate.
The Post Holder is expected to work alongside staff during their shifts to sign off competencies and support training and development across all directorate Nursing and AHP Staff.
A key element of the role involves identifying the learning and development needs of Nursing and AHP staff working in medical specialties.
Developing a learning framework and competencies to support and sign off Core Clinical competencies and specific skills identified by medical specialties.
The post holder will contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures within their sphere of responsibility.

Please note, if the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement.
