Job summary

ST CHRISTOPHERS HOSPICE in Sydenham invites applications for a registered nurse in the In-Patient Unit (IPU). This part-time role is 30 hours per week on a 7-day rota, with a pro-rata salary of £55,524 to £62,652 including HCAS.

You will lead nursing development, educate staff, support quality improvement and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality palliative and end-of-life care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with post-registration experience in palliative and end-of-life care.
• Ability to lead education, workforce development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and a commitment to equality and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing development and education within the hospice.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality palliative care.
