Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust seeks a Practice Development Nurse to shape learning and development across 0-19 services. Based in Richmond, South West London, you will support clinical teams, the Academy and Locality Manager to create positive learning opportunities that build staff knowledge, skills and confidence.

You will use your SCPHN Health Visitor experience to drive teaching, supervision and assessment.

Qualifications

• Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) with SCPHN.
• Postgraduate qualification or Master’s degree in relevant field.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and learning leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate learning across designated services.
• Identify learning needs and develop engaging education for staff.
• Facilitate induction and continuing professional development for nursing staff.
• Provide teaching, supervision and assessment to develop knowledge and skills.
• Embed learning and evidence-based practice into daily care.
