An exciting opportunity exists for a Practice Manager at a leading GP training practice in Warrington. You will lead a dynamic team in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring efficient practice management, compliance with NHS obligations, and financial oversight. This role requires a confident individual with a strong background in business management and human resources.

We are a patient focused team and GP training practice inWarrington with 8.5k patients and four GP partners.
We see this as an exciting opportunity to be part of aproactive, forward thinking established practice.
The role will preferably require experience within primarycare and business management. Roles will include managing the primary careteam, Human Resources, financial management and planning, patient servicedelivery, risk management and CQC compliance.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficientmanagement of the practice as well as ensuring the wellbeing of our dedicatedteam.
We are a GP Training practice in Warrington, Cheshire andbelong to the Central and West Warrington PCN. We have four partners, two salariedGPs and several trainees (ST and FY2). We also have two practice nurses aswell as ARRS roles including HCAs, mental health practitioner, physiotherapy,dietician and pharmacists. The practice uses system one.

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice,ensuring staff achieve their primary responsibilities
Managing the procurement of practice equipment, supplies andservices
Managing contracts for bought in services i.e. cleaning,gardening, etc
The management of the premises, including health and safetyaspects such as risk assessments and mandatory training
Ensuring the practice has appropriate insurance cover
Developing, implementing and embedding an appropriatebusiness continuity plan
Direct line management of the following staff; Reception& administrative Staff
Managing the recruitment and retention of staff;
Ensuring all staff have the appropriate level of training toenable them to carry out their individual roles & responsibilitieseffectively. Developing, implementing and embedding an effective staffappraisal process
Implementing effective systems for the resolution ofdisciplinary and grievance issues
Managing the financial elements of the practice, includingbudgets, cash and bank balances, etc. and seeking to maximise income and reduceexpenditure
Managing and processing partners drawings, PAYE and pensionsfor practice staff
Maintaining an effective liaison with the accountant,overseeing practice accounts, ensuring year-end figures are presented
Briefing partners on all financial matters, includingforecasting
Coordinating the reviewing and updating of all practicepolicies and procedures
Leading change and continuous improvement initiatives;coordinating all projects within the practice
Coordinating and leading the strategic direction of thebusiness through quarterly strategy meetings with partners
Developing, implementing and embedding an effectivecommunication strategy (internal and external)
Ensuring the practice maintains compliance with its NHScontractual obligations and CQC registration
Ensuring the team reach QOF and enhanced service targets
Actively encouraging and promoting the use of patient onlineservices
Liaising at external meetings as required
Marketing the practice appropriately
Supporting the management of the Patient Participation Group
Management of all complaints
Ensuring that the practice conforms to public and NHS policyin existence at any time. Any other duties of a practice-manager nature thatmay be introduced from time to time by the NHS or standard commercial businesspractice.
Actively engage and maintain relationships within the PCN.
