Job summary

Lloyd Barnes Recruitment represents a leading South West accountancy practice seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team in a full-time, permanent capacity.

You will manage your own client portfolio, prepare statutory accounts, tax compliance, provide commercial advisory support, mentor junior staff, and help drive growth within a specialist division, working closely with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with accountancy practice experience
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts, tax, and client advisory services
• Experience managing a client portfolio independently
• Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Proactive, commercially minded, and developing your career

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering accounting and advisory services
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and tax compliance work

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
• Support the development and mentoring of junior team members
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and win new business
